Day 28

This morning around 10:30 I had an apple and some chocolate milk for breakfast... then I leisurely made my way to the garage to workout. I did an hour on the elliptical an got some punches in. Then I sat around for about an hour and read my kindle, and then went upstairs to make some lunch. I made some macaroni noodles and sprinkled some homemade garlic salt on them with butter, tomatoes, a little EVOO, and some swedish cheese.

After eating, I read some more, and then decided to take a nap because I was still tired from being out so late in Stockholm. Once I woke up, I read some more, had some chocolate milk, and then got ready for practice.

We practiced in the school's gym because it looked like it was going to rain, but it didn't. It was a good practice and we were there from 6-8:30pm. Afterwards, I rode the short distance back to the house and Karin told me some leftover dinner was upstairs. They had something similar to hashbrown patties, rice, and something called "blood patties." She told me to heat up the blood patties and try them, and I took a small nibble and did not like it so I made a salad and that was my dinner. I'm glad I decided not to eat that because as I was making my salad, Micke started telling me about how his mom or grandma would make the blood patties after butchering the pig... bleh.

So anyways, after I ate, Karin made a grocery list and asked if I'd mind driving the car to the store to get the items with Wilma. I said no problem, so Wilma and I went there so we could work on our Swedish and English. They use scanners to scan the items you put in your bags as a "shop express" thing, and that's what we did, but the shop express machine wasn't working so we kind of stood there for about 5 minutes not really knowing what to do, and then I saw someone else have trouble and then just get in the regular line, so that's what we did. We just got back from there, and now it's time for me to shower and relax.

Hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow so I can bike out to the lake!
